The co-founders of the blog represent in themselves the international aspect of this blog as they come from three different countries:
Living in Poynton, close to Manchester, Rick is a co-founder of FC United of Manchester. He works at the Main Stand Bar at almost every home game and if you see him in the stand you’ll hear him scream as loud as anyone. Rick has also been involved in greeting international visitors and hosting several pub crawls and dinners for FC United-fans from all over the world, making a lots of friends in the process.
… is one of these people that befriended Rick during one of his trips to Manchester. Erik has ever since 2007 been deeply involved in FC United and has both written in the FCUM match programme as well as been administrator for the FC United International Branch’s facebook-page. Furthermore he organises individual football trips to Great Britain for all interested people in Europe on Football Flight. Erik lives in Wittenberg, Germany and is this blog’s technical genius.
… lives in Uppsala, Sweden and attended his first FC United-match in 2009. He then called his father back home to say that “This is what real english football culture sounds like”. Ever since then FC United has been a progressively growing drug and Linus is trying his best to spread the word of the “FC United way” both in Sweden and internationally.
