New matchday programme “FCUM Review” launched today

Good news about this season’s match day programme, called officially “FCUM Review” from now. Just ordered my digital “Season Ticket” for all this season’s matchday programme for just 30 Pounds. It’s a great opportunity to stay close to our club even from oversea.Read the full article here from the official FC page.

Tonight’s game sees the launch of our new look matchday programme. Borrowing from our past and looking to our future, the publication has had a complete revamp and we hope you like it. The League have relaxed their advert requirements, which means we have far less pages of adverts and therefore more articles and pictures from our talented team of contributors. We have given the programme a name too. Henceforth it shall be known as ‘FCUM Review’. This has been done for a number of reasons – to give the publication an identity of its own and also to reflect the fact that it is more than just another programme. The content is consistently such that the Review is more like a bi-monthly (sometimes more) magazine about all that is happening at our wonderful club. The cover price will remain at the same £2 price it has been since we put together the first issue back in 2005. That’s eight years without a price rise and more content than ever. It is the opposite of what most publications are doing across the country – we are FC United and we do things differently. In tonight’s issue we have a review of pre-season with pictures from our excellent snappers, who between them, covered every game. We have a piece on our brand new Development Squad as they prepare for their debut season. With it being a programme, we have an article about programmes. Phil Busby likes his programmes and he looks back to FC’s formative matches to discuss the scarcity or otherwise of those publications. We have an opinion piece from the Football Supporters’ Federation’s Amanda Jacks, a community piece by Michael Holdsworth and Adam Jones, who comes out with one of the best FC quotes we have had the privilege to include in our pages. We have the usual stats and match reports, as well as news and this season the away team section gains yet another page in response to readers’ feedback. That’s four pages on our opponents with ace pictures included. With far less adverts and more content, there is no excuse not to part with your hard-earned, which will go back into your football club. And don’t forget if you can’t make the match or prefer to not have the clutter, you can buy a digital version of the programme for your phone, tablet or computer. You can subscribe to a season’s worth of programmes for £30 by visiting this page. This presents a big saving over the season. We will also be selling PDF programmes on a match-by-match basis for £1.50 via the club shop. The process for subscribers is explained here. A link to a special page on the official website will be emailed to all subscribers as soon as the order can be processed, which can only be accessed using a supplied username and password. To contribute in any way – be it articles, pictures or just comments – please email programme@fc-utd.co.uk Your feedback is vital. Cheers for the support.
